RED RAIN
By Eric Nguyen and Scott Burman
WE FRACKED MARS.
THEY FRACKED US.
In the near future, Earth has begun the process of colonizing Mars, fracking the planet for its valuable resources. After a catastrophic accident, half of the planet explodes, sending pieces of Mars hurtling through space and changing the atmosphere of Earth in the process.
Now, a fog of red covers the Earth. In a desperate attempt to survive, wealthy individuals begin storing their bodies in lifepods while scientists work on a solution.
Eventually, they develop a process of downloading their consciousness into human/animal hybrids, the only way to survive the harsh conditions of the new Red Planet.

EARTH IS NOW THE RED PLANET
Our story begins hundreds of years later, with the Earth now a vast desert of red.
Armin, a teenager frozen shortly before the red rain came down, awakens from cryosleep to discover he's now a half human/half insect hybrid. Confused and frightened, Armin sets out on a journey to uncover the truth behind what happened to the world, and more importantly, how he'll survive.

Along the way, Armin joins up with a ragtag bunch of misfit hybrids, each with their own unique abilities, and they begin a journey to find a fabled underground city that apparently houses the last remnants of humanity.
He forms an unlikely alliance with them as they navigate the treacherous landscapes, all while being hunted by a mysterious group known as the Pure, human/robot hybrids with unknown origins, hellbent on killing anything that gets in their way.

Red Rain brings us a new world full of varying landscapes, diverse characters, laughter, insanity, mystery, and fun. From the creators of "White Savior," this book will leave everyone asking:

Where were you when the red rain came?
