HOW I WENT ON TINDER AND CAUGHT A SERIAL KILLER
A Comedy About Dating.... And Murder
HOW I WENT ON TINDER AND
CAUGHT A SERIAL KILLER!
LOGLINE:
A serial killer targets her victims using a dating app. She goes out with men, poisons them, lathers them in oil, and stabs them to death.
....So naturally, the only ones who can stop her are two clueless roommates, who use the app to set up dates with women matching the killer’s description. When one of them falls in love with the prime suspect, hilarity and/or murder ensues.
SYNOPSIS
Eric Lymon is your average 30 year old loan processor, the epitome of unexciting. His roommate, Frank, spends most of time wishing he was Al Pacino. When Detective Keller, who on a good day is an alcoholic idiot, informs them their roommate Dave was murdered by a serial killer, Frank and Eric realize they're the only ones who can stop her.
After discovering Dave and other victims used a dating app called Honeybee, Frank and Eric create their own profiles designed to entice the killer, and begin dating possible "suspects." The dates are long and exhausting, until Eric meets Nicole, a mysterious artist who literally screams “probable killer.”
Of course, Eric falls in love with her, even though she's slowly becoming the prime suspect. With the body count rising, Eric continues to pursue her, his feelings for her clashing with the realization that she’s probably going to kill him.
DUDE, THIS SOUNDS AWESOME
We know, right?
Seriously, we can't argue with you. It's completely awesome. And funny. Remember when they still made comedies? This is an example of a comedy.
The jokes are fast and furious, the twist and turns keep you guessing, and there may or may not be a good amount of raunch. A comic satire taking on modern dating, Tinder, Al Pacino’s Sea of Love, men, women, and pop culture in general, “How I Went on Tinder and Caught A Serial Killer” is just a damn fun time.
